It wasn’t the h-card so much as the link itself. The mention came to my homepage. I manually moved it to the followers page and changed the “type” to followed to get it to show up on that page.

There aren’t many people sending or receiving these in a standard fashion yet, but we’ll get there. I actively make follow posts in an attempt to eventually help speed the way.
