@jimgroom I’ve not seen the admin UI, but is there a toggle for what appears on the /explore page of an instance? I notice that some smaller instances have pages of people to check out (opted in by each user in the settings), eg: https://hcommons.social/explore. Did social.ds106.us specifically opt out of this for its instance?

  1. @jimgroom Yes, they’re using Darius Kazemi’s Hometown fork which does local only posting and has a higher limit than 500 characters. But I’m pretty sure the /explore option is a commonality to most of the platforms. Good to know where else to look on other instances though. /directory seems more logical for people while /explore might give a local timeline.
