A generally uplifting episode…

👓 Investors say ex-‘Fox & Friends’ host turned them into unwitting slumlords | Indianapolis Star
Clayton Morris, a former Fox News co-host, is accused of selling novice investors uninhabitable rental properties.
I remember watching a couple of Clayton’s Periscope videos a few years back (about the time his wife Natali was leaving C|Net and the Buzz Out Loud podcast) and thinking he was a bit too credulous and even “off” at the time. I really couldn’t tell what he was selling at the time except for himself. This story doesn’t surprise me in the least. The piece overall is some tremendously interesting and solid journalism.
A quick Google search on “Clayton Morris” shows that this scandal hasn’t caught up with him. Only about two hits in the top twenty mention this issue, so he could potentially be profiting from his alleged scheme.
Will the virtual participation include live video/audio? Where will that be accessed? or does that piece require full OLCInnovate registration?

👓 Conservative Bible Project aims to rewrite scripture to counter perceived liberal bias | NY Daily News
The Conservative Bible Project's authors argue that contemporary scholars have inserted liberal views and ahistorical passages into the Bible, turning Jesus into little more than a well-meaning social worker.
Another thousand years from now portions of the “christian” bible will have strayed so far from the original that they will be completely unrecognizable. You can choose to reinterpret them into a new modern setting, but it still doesn’t change the words that were originally inscribed.
What would a classroom look like if it were set up for dialogue rather than monologue? What would a syllabus look like if it’s goal was to connect things rather than to arrive somewhere? Will we know learning is happening if we don’t measure it by where it ends?
👓 Elon Musk drops surprise rap single about Harambe | The Hill
Tesla CEO Elon Musk, weeks after the Securities and Exchange Commission asked a judge to hold him in contempt, has dropped a surprise rap sing
Because I’m reading it on April Fool’s Day, it could be insane, but then again so is Elon Musk, so we’ll have to do some research to see if this is actually true. Though it is also most likely an Elon Musk joke that’s getting widespread attention.
The tune is kinda catchy though…
