Directed by Fred Savage. With Ed O'Neill, Sofía Vergara, Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell. In an effort to be less negative, Claire inadvertently approves of Luke's new relationship with someone from his work; Phil tries to surprise Alex at school right before she receives an award she didn't tell him about.
An interesting series of misunderstandings here, but they could have dragged it out longer.

An interesting close out of the series. It eventually had to come to an end somehow.

The U2 song was a great “get” here and fit the ending and tone here incredibly well.
