Interestingly, I’ll note that on their site they mention Chris Lott, who has both a primary site and a subdomain which he calls a commonplace book! Hooray for another example of this in the wild.

I’ve had so many commonplace books on so many platforms (and hand-coded) since 1998ish! But consistently in paper notebooks since long before that and through today).

You get one push Omeka and Scalar too which could be used for open book writing. You don’t have to buy domain when signing up, and I think each book should be its own domain.
