I thought @KevinMarks‘ http://www.unmung.com/ tool might have some facility like this. I know he’d done some work with BBC recipes in the past, perhaps he knows of a custom tool(s) or parsers with better fidelity and conversion to either HTML or Markdown for Obsidian use?

FYI: There’s an #obsidianmd importer for cooklang now. It doesn’t have all the kinks worked out yet, but it’s only been three days 😉

Interesting. I see the library they are relying on, recipe-scraper, uses the exact approach we mentioned (ld+json + custom scrapers as fallback) so the pros and cons discussed apply. Good to see work in this area!
