@pimoore It’s a 1948 Smith-Corona Clipper.
@chrisaldrich @pimoore Nice! The Smith-Coronas from that era are so good. I’ve got my dad’s 1954 Super-Silent and a Skywriter from the same timeframe that I got from eBay a few years ago. They are both a joy to type on and are built like tanks.
@petebrown @chrisaldrich I thought maybe it was a SC after zooming in a bit closer. There was a different model of that brand at the typewriter shop where I bought my Underwood, and I had a hard time choosing between them—yes, I know, I should’ve bought both. I’d go back and see what other gems it has, but sadly it closed down.
