@chrisaldrich you inspired me to take the plunge! I bought a manual typewriter for the first time in decades. I will let you know how it goes!!

@chrisaldrich it’s a little Hermes baby in an orange case… but seems to be the darling of the customs inspectors, so it hasn’t arrived… yet, but when it does, I will post a little sample and picture!
@chrisaldrich Chris — my typewriter saga continues. I ordered this really great little Hermes orange typewriter that didn’t work when it arrived. It had been dropped during shipping. So, I ordered another one from a different seller in South America… when it arrived, the seller had put the wrong one in the box. So now, (hopefully, third time is a charm), I have a third on the way. I can’t wait to bang out a message or two on it. I’ll share when it arrives!
@velocykel I’ve seen lots of Hermes in mint green, but never one in orange. Sounds like fun!
@chrisaldrich I’m excited about it… however, I’m trying to keep my hopes in check in case the one that arrives is as busted up as the last one! 🙂
@velocykel If you’ve kept both, you can use one as a parts machine to repair the other?
