On a side note, any update on when you are going to share more about that numeric indexing system book (https://boffosocko.com/2025/11/25/luhmann-didnt-even-invent-his-alpha-numeric-numbering-system/)?
I need to send this to my hubs, he’s a director of his dept and several of his direct reports just got in trouble for this exact thing: not being able to show their work. Instead of listing their efforts in a (very difficult) project meeting, all they could say was they haven’t found a solution.
To say the VP was fuming is an understatement.

Another example from The Office was in the Golden Ticket episode. Michael wanted Dwight to take the fall for his failed idea. Michael tried to tell corporate that it had been Dwight’s idea, but Dwight pulled out a notebook and read the following entry:
“March 4th, Micheal Scott came up with a golden ticket idea to give 5 customers 10% off for one year.””
