  1. What did you think of the show you listened to? Admittedly, I cannot remember the last time I listened to BBC Radio Scotland 🤦 Maybe I should give it a listen one day next week. Should I keep a live blog of my experience listening to the show? 😀

    1. Sorry I missed this until just now James. I didn’t get a webmention for it (I think I had my receiver off for a few days around this time), but someone clicked on the link today, so I got a refback instead. Fortunately I’ve got a converter for that…

      I don’t remember which particular show it was now, though it was heavily time shifted for me. I have enjoyed listening to various radio stations from Scotland, Ireland, and Wales off and on for the last year or so. (I’m trying to learn Welsh, and have delved into some Irish and Scots, so having some “local” news for accents and pacing has been helpful.) Overall, they’ve got a more calm pace and demeanor compared to our local Los Angeles based fare. What radio stations (especially non-English) would you recommend in Scotland?

      Live blogging it might be interesting, though having the original context can be helpful, particularly if you’re planning on being snarky. I did run across this live blog of a Tea magazine on Mastodon the other day which was fairly snarky and clever this way.
