I used NCR paper back when typewriters were still used in offices. You had to be careful rolling it in not to get a fold which would be turned into a line on your copy. The paper is a little thin. Overall, it was easy to use and provided fine results. I appreciated the different colored paper for the different copies.
Today, I’d never use carbon paper, unless it was for nostalgia. But, I could see using NCR paper. Or, jetset memos. My mom used these regularly, and it looks like they are still made.

Also used it back in the day. The advice to be careful of folding it is spot on.
I OCR all of my writing that I’m going to submit, so now just keep the originals instead of a copy of the originals.
