  1. That’s a really tough one! I kind of want to say GNU / Linux, because they’ve empowered so much communication and sharing that would have been prohibitive otherwise. But possibly also Firefox, which is our only real open source window on the web.

  2. If you’re looking for a web-based answer: WordPress, which has allowed hundreds of millions of people to tell their stories.

    Least favorite: Android. It’s a delivery mechanism for surveillance in my opinion.
