A white typewritten page that reads: 2024-06-24 I'm looking out over the yard and noticing a nice little red side table out in front of the neighbor's house. Its almost just like our own brown side table that Sonia wants to replace with a table she just got from her mom. Lucy's table has a small book trough in the bottom instead of a few drawers and a small lower shelf like the other two. I can't help but wondering how useful the other two may be for making a lower style typing desk, but the issue is having any space to place one's legs. I suppose I ought to bit the bullet and see if the typing desk/card index combo is still available on Facebook. I'm sure they are as these things are so terribly out of style. Though they couldnt go to a nicer home where they'll both be appreciated in all their original glory without needing to be repurposed for something else. The card index will feel right at home with the dozens of others and the typing desk (with wheels!) will find happy use among the 13 typewriters roaming about the house. With wheels, the desk could easily find use almost anywhere.
