I am happy to announce that Kimberly Hirsh will join us as the key note for IndieWebCamp New Haven.
I can’t wait to hear what Kimberly Hirsh comes up with for the upcoming camp!

  1. I can’t wait to see what I come up with, either! I’ve been trying to track down other keynotes via the IndieWeb YouTube channel to see what kind of thing people generally do. Any suggestions, either for topic or examples? (Right now I’m brainstorming something about the IndieWeb as a Connected Learning environment, but I’m not sure if that’s the kind of thing that makes sense.)

    1. Kimberly, I knew I’d seen a response from you somewhere, but thought perhaps it was in the chat last week. I think your idea is certainly something that makes sense and also dovetails a lot with the Domain of One’s Own movement. I suspect that a large number of people there will be specifically interested in the idea from a teaching/pedagogy perspective and the remainder can be pulled in from a lifelong learning or personal learning network perspective (from a motivation perspective).

The only places I’ve seen invited talks at camps have been at the most recent 2018 summit and for the camp in NY at which Maha spoke.
