Index card with text of main post in neat cursive handwriting including the title "Physical slip to digital zettelkasten"
Since I can post to my website by pen and paper with OCR’d photos, I realize I should use a similar workflow to post handwritten zettels to my [[Obsidian]]-based [[zettelkasten]]/[[commonplace book]] too!

  1. As neat as my cursive handwriting may be, the OCR admittedly doesn’t like it very much, so print will win the day on future posts.

    1. @chrwahl I’ll post about the steps of the method shortly, but any photos in Google Drive opened up in Google Docs will create a document with the photo and transcribe the OCR’d text below it. It was solid enough that it included the partial “Dia” of the word Diamond visible in tiny print on the cap of my pen.
