@abidnev I like the look of https://fedipress.com/ and where it’s going. Your tutorial is excellent, but omits one small piece of useful architecture for discovery. You might consider adding the NodeInfo plugin to your WordPress/Fediverse toolbelt.

One of its benefits is to help WordPress sites show up in Fediverse databases like https://the-federation.info/wordpress, which should also give you a broader listing of the (currently 405 nodes with 9273 users) WordPress instances in the Fediverse for advertising on your site.

Good luck!

  1. David Shanske and Manton Reece: Not sure where the error is coming from, but likely in the JSONfeed for WordPress(?), but this post on my site (https://boffosocko.com/2022/05/10/55804700/) is missing the text and link to https://fedipress.com/ after the phrase “I like the look of…” in the syndicated copy on micro.blog at https://micro.blog/chrisaldrich/12853772.

The JSON feed at https://boffosocko.com/feed/json/?microdotblog=1 simply has <a href=\"https://fedipress.com/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" rel="nofollow ugc"> but doesn’t include the text or a closing anchor tag.

Any idea how to remedy this? Is it JSONFeed plugin for WordPress improperly escaping something to cut off the end of the linked URL?
