My one hot take: A book about annotation should have had bigger (better) margins. Being part of a pre-existing series understandably made that difficult.

Just saw my first news report since the start of the pandemic and introduction of vaccines where a reporter specified in voice over of video of people sitting within a foot or two of each other that everyone was fully vaccinated.
Helps make it feel like we’ve turned some sort of corner.
Of course the segment was about the coming plague of locusts…
I sort of like the idea of “Brain Baking” as a framing for lifelong learning with a bit of commonplace book or digital gardening thrown in. You can’t help but love naming short notes as “new half-baked ideas”.

I’ll put your name on the list, and you can visit that page on the day for the video link to join via Zoom. No need to fuss with a “formal” RSVP unless you want to try it for fun. Incidentally your tweet which mentioned the event post has created an informal RSVP on the page already. 🙂
Most are logged into the system with their website which will give you a one-button RSVP link. However, most have actually RSVP’d on their websites and sent a webmention to that page for their avatars and details to show up on the page. (Here’s mine.) If you don’t have your webmention sender live yet, you can do it manually: https://telegraph.p3k.io/send-a-webmention.

Webmentions haven't really been revisited in some time (and with the advent of people leaning to Webmention.io). This is a chance to see what's been really wanted, what hasn't worked and where we can go with it. Let's webmunch on the riddle of webmentions. How can we get more people hosting their own webmention sending, receiving, and validating? How can we prevent Webmention.io from being the beginning and end of IndieWeb participants' use of webmentions?
