Browsing some used books. Good to see them back at Santa Anita.
Interesting to see the tape and decals on the mall floors to help separate people for the coronavirus. It’s dead empty here, but apparently they’ve either had crowds or may be expecting them. They’ve also blocked off the seating everywhere as well.
Stopping in to return 10 extra curtains we didn’t end up using in the living room. Browsed around for a bit.
Picked up a few pillows for the family room couch.
Picking up the pants with the repaired zipper. $20 seems a bit steep…
Haven’t stopped by since before the pandemic. Good to see Mitsuko open things up for private appointments. Arrived at 11:59 and browsed for about 20 minutes.
Picked up a few books for the monkey.
Their coronavirus procedure has one enter from the parking lot and exit on the street so you’ve got to walk all the way back around the building.
Picking up a copy of The Celtic Myths by Miranda Aldhouse-Green to finish reading it.
Front walk of the library with a plastic folding table blocking the entrance with signs regarding “curbside” pickup
Curbside pick up instructions
Picking up some fruit and veg. Also got a bottle of Windex because we’re almost out and they had some.

Just saw this on the way to the Altadena Library. Stopped to check it out and ended up adding it to the map. Picked up a copy of Bad Kitty Meets the Baby.
View of the library from across the street

After a long pandemic break, I’m finally returning some books from January/February! Sadly, there’s no book returns on the back side of the library, so you’ve got to walk all the way around to the front to put them in the curbside boxes.
It’s nearby, so why not have a Bostone Creme donut? $1.10’s worth of heaven.
Picking up a baguette for the day.
