An uncanny coincidence that I picked up a 1958 Olympia SM3 typewriter today (with a Congress Elite No. 84 typeface, 11 pitch, 2.3 m/m and a custom math keyboard) and this awesome t-shirt shows up on my doorstep 20 minutes later???

Awesome!!
Nice. I’m looking for an SM4 myself, and I’m telling myself it’s the last one.
It’s a conspiracy. You’re lost to the cult now. XD
You have it bad. The only thing holding you back will be space.
Me this week lol.
Got an elite-font SCM Classic 12 that I absolutely adore. My only other Classic/Galaxie has some unfortunate quirks. So I wanted one with no drawbacks, and it has been amazing. Thought I would dislike the elite font, but I actually might prefer it.
My last one, I swear.
Probably not a coincidence.
Thanks for sharing this. I have exactly the same type writer which was used by my father when he was in high school. I only knew the brand but never able to learnt the model till today
I just bought my first typewriter today (SM7) and I’m worried I just started something
@chrisaldrich That is exactly the model our family owns since my youth (except the QWERTY keyboard). Ours has a thick felt cloth to protect it in its case during travel, and which we put beneath to dim the noise. I particularly remember typing my diploma thesis at a speed of about one page per 45 minutes, because of the inserted symbols (math, in 1979).
