Just for fun, let’s see who can come closest to a make, model and year for this lovely typewriter I’ve got on the bench this week for restoration.

Looks like a mid 50s Remington Super-Riter to me
The looks of the controls look similar to my royal model H, but my ribbon spools are black.
My guess is some type of Royal, 40s or 50s.
Looks an awful lot like a Remington KMC to me, but they tend to all run together in my squirrel brain sometimes.
@chrisaldrich Underwood?
Turns out it was a ’51 Remington Super-Riter.
Fred
Underwood Golden Touch?
Remington Super-Riter?
How about this one; dismantled for cleaning:

I thought we had to come up with names for the poor thing. Anyhoo, looks like one of those big Remmington desk anchors.
@chrisaldrich I'm guessing some kind of Remington judging from the ribbon cores.
Sorry for the delay in the answer. I wanted to have the machine finished up. It’s a now-restored Remington Super-Riter from March 1951.

My favorite answer was from u/Thatrailfan with “Fred”, which I’m considering as a name for it now.
