Replied to IndieWeb Camp San Diego Day 2 by Joe CrawfordJoe Crawford (artlung.com)

IndieWeb Camp San Diego [1] [2] has been a blast. Great bunch of people and great ideas in a terrific outdoor context.

A group of IndieWebCampers sitting around a low table at an outdoor coffee shop working on laptops.
Yes, that was me, the weirdo on the right at IndiWebCamp working on a nested platform of typewriter, laptop, and cell phone. It was totally worth it to see Tantek’s expression when he realized I had actually typed one of my earlier responses.

My goal for the day 2 at camp is to get my site set up so that I can type a post and with a quick photo send it to my website as a post there. As a reach goal, I’d also like to get alt text working as well for accessibility. I'm hoping I can leverage some of my prior work on posting handwritten posts to get this all done. #IndieWeb #FTW

RSVPed Attending IndieWebCamp San Diego 2023
The first annual IndieWebCamp San Diego is scheduled for December 16 and 17th! The venue will be the Blackmarket Bakery (until 4pm). They have a nice fenced in courtyard of good size with several table sizes, shade, power, etc. and is centrally located in San Diego, CA with easy access to transportation and other amenities.
This looks like a great weekend coming up. Can’t wait to see everyone in person.
