Watched "The Mandalorian" Chapter 7: The Reckoning from Disney+
Directed by Deborah Chow. With Pedro Pascal, Carl Weathers, Gina Carano, Nick Nolte. An old rival extends an invitation for The Mandalorian to make peace.

A relatively solid episode building into the season closer. I’m hoping for fewer plots that could have served as fodder for the 70s/80s Buck Rodgers or Battlestar Galactica episodes.

Directed by Anne Fletcher. With Danielle Macdonald, Jennifer Aniston, Odeya Rush, Maddie Baillio. Willowdean ('Dumplin'), the plus-size teenage daughter of a former beauty queen, signs up for her mom's Miss Teen Bluebonnet pageant as a protest that escalates when other contestants follow her footsteps, revolutionizing the pageant and their small Texas town.
Such a sweet little movie.
Watched The Queen (2006) from Netflix
Directed by Stephen Frears. With Helen Mirren, Michael Sheen, James Cromwell, Alex Jennings. After the death of Princess Diana, Queen Elizabeth II struggles with her reaction to a sequence of events nobody could have predicted.

Rating ★★★½

I’ve seen this in the theater and at least one other time on video. Interesting to revisit after watching a few seasons of The Crown on Netflix though.
