From border crossings to hacking conferences, that Bitcoin or political sticker may be worth leaving on a case at home.
Of course this also reminds me that if academics, journalists, and publications/outlets were using webmentions when they credited creative commons articles, photos, audio, or other content, then the originator would get a notification that it was being used. This could also tip the originator off that their licensed content is being properly used.
Stickers are a resume and its fair to scrutinize both. If I see a web developer with an Adobe Flash logo on their notebook I’ll run the other way.
I’m thinking we should put version numbers on stickers too. Let’s be transparent they out web hosts are running outdated software. 😀
Blockchain stickers?
I will point out that my stickers are affixed to a skin, so in a security or identity emergency, I could quickly reduce my laptop case identifiers back down to just base Apple fanboy levels.
