The set up on this is a bit drawn out, I’m hoping it pays off in the next few episodes.

The plot isn’t as tight as it has been in prior seasons. They’re spending a bit too much time building something to a peak, I’m not sure I’m as engaged as I should be as a result of the plot structure here.

Directed by James Watkins. With Idris Elba, Richard Madden, Charlotte Le Bon, Kelly Reilly. A young pickpocket and an unruly CIA agent team up on an anti-terrorist mission in France.
A relatively straight-up-the middle action/reverse heist flick. Entertaining, but not the greatest thing out there.

Directed by David Barrett. With Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, Will Estes, Len Cariou. The drug cartel hitman responsible for torching Danny's house resurfaces. Also, an attack on an officer in the line of duty directly impacts a member of Frank's team; Eddie reluctantly introduces Jamie to her mother, Lena; and Erin deals with the consequences of her new role as boss.

Three bakers run the gamut from naughty to nice as they vie to create the definitive gingerbread showpiece. The competitors receive a competition curveball mid-challenge that requires them to switch gears from assembling gingerbread to creating delicious holiday treats to act as functional parts of their final pieces. When the time runs out, the bakers must face a panel of judges that will penalize the naughty, praise the nice and send one contestant on to the grand finale for a chance at $25,000.
They play these folks up as major professionals, but the end results never look like what I would expect out of pros.
